Meetings
Village Council meetings regularly take place on the first Thursday
of each month at 7:00 p.m. They are held in council chambers
at Village Hall. All council meetings are open to the public,

Committee Meetings
The PARC meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month
at 7 p.m. and are held in the conference room at Village Hall.

History Committee
Meetings
The History Committee meets the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month
at 10 a.m. in the conference room at Village Hall. If you wish
to learn more about this committee, please visit the History

Anniversary
Celebration
In honor of the 1991 incorporation of the Village of Tobaccoville,
the annual Anniversary Celebration will be held on
Saturday, September 8, 2012 at the Village Park beginning at
11 a.m. To

Holiday Lights
Holiday lights are displayed throughout the Village of Tobaccoville
on portions of Doral Drive and Tobaccoville Road. The lights
are officially lit by the Wednesday
before Thanksgiving. .
Holiday Tree
Lighting Ceremony
The tree lighting ceremony traditionally takes place at the
park on the first Monday following Thanksgiving and is coordinated
by the Park and Recreation Committee. It has become a special
time of community fellowship and signals the official beginning
of the holiday season in the Village of Tobaccoville. The next
ceremony will be held Monday, November 26, 2012 at 7:00 p.m.
at the Alice Watts Tuttle Community Center.
National Day
of Prayer
Thursday, May 3, 2012 is designated as National Day of Prayer.
The Village of Tobaccoville sponsors an observance for the community
each year at the gazebo at 12 noon. To view the National Day
