OF COUNCIL VACANCY***
Due to Council Member Wayne Dodson moving out of the Village
limits, a seat on the Village Council became vacant effective
May 25, 2016. Per N.C.G.S. 160A-63, "A vacancy that
occurs in an elective office of a city shall be filled by appointment
of the city council." The Village Council encourages
interested candidates to submit information to them for their
consideration in filling the vacancy. Candidates may email their
name, contact information and a summary of their qualifications
or deliver the information to Dan Corder, Village Administrator,
at Village Hall. Information regarding interested candidates
will be accepted until the vacancy is filled.
SCHEDULE FOR AUGUST
The August 2016 once-a-month
recycling dates for residents of the Village of Tobaccoville
are as follows: Monday trash collection pick-ups will receive
recycling service on Monday, August 1st and Tuesday collection
pick-ups will receive recycling service on Tuesday, August 2nd.

Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 7 p.m. in the conference room at Village
