Regulations for
the use of the Village Park
FAILURE TO ABIDE
BY THESE RULES COULD RESULT IN YOUR SUSPENSION FROM THE PARK
AND YOUR ARREST, IF WARRANTED
ACTIVITIES
No vendors
are allowed to conduct business on park premises unless authorized
by the Village Administrator.
Bicycles and tricycles are prohibited from the walking trails.
No skateboards,
rollerblades or roller skates allowed in the park.
Motorized vehicles
are restricted to parking lots and roadways. Gas powered, remote
control and battery powered hobby cars, planes, and vehicles
are prohibited from the park.
Camping is prohibited.
Tents may not be erected at the park.
Fires may only be
built in grill enclosures provided at the park.
SUBSTANCES
Alcoholic beverages and illicit substances are prohibited.
DEVICES
All firearms, fireworks, slingshots, bows and arrows, blowguns,
crossbows, air guns, rockets or any other similar devices, recreational
or otherwise, are prohibited.
ANIMALS
No farm animals are permitted in the park.
All pets are required
to be restrained on a leash no more than ten (10) feet in length,
except that all pets on the walking trails must be restrained
on a four (4) foot leash.
CHILDREN
Parents are responsible for supervising the activities and safety
of their children at all times. For groups, a minimum ratio
of one supervisor/chaperone per ten children is suggested.
LITTER
No littering or dumping is permitted on park property. Patrons
shall be responsible for properly disposing of all trash and
other garbage.
NUISANCE
No one shall undertake any noxious or offensive activity in
the park or do anything which may be or become an annoyance
or nuisance to other park patrons or the neighborhood, including
excessive noise.
AFTER-HOURS ACTIVITY
No trespassing after the park closes. Anyone caught trespassing
when the park is closed could be subject to arrest.
